As the unit in charge of the project, it has been granted the "Biotechnology and Information Technology Fusion and Application Project" by the National Development and Reform Commission, which is jointly reported by Beijing Union Medical College Hospital, Beijing Tsinghua Chang Gung Hospital, Children's Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University Medical College, Southern Hospital and Ganzhou People's Hospital. The construction results of the project have been highly recognized by national ministries and commissions: In 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology awarded Southern Hospital as the only demonstration base for the integrated application of multimodal data diagnosis and research in South China; In 2022, the case of "Construction and Application of Big Data Scientific Research Platform for Difficult and Complicated Diseases Based on Multi-modal AI Technology" from Southern Hospital was selected in National Health Commission's Typical Digital Health Cases (2nd Batch).
